Alternative method for use in Compression Testing of Cylinder Concrete specimen is by using an unbounded capping systems. This system is cleaner, odorless and faster compared with capping method.
This set consist of :
CT42-110 Capping Pads
Compression capping pads are made from thought elastomeric material that flows into irregularities to distribute the test load uniformly to assure consistent breaks. These pads are reusable up to approx. 100 times. This pads using for 6” dia x 12” (150 x 305 mm) specimen.
CT42-120 Retaining Caps
The retaining caps machined from high quality alloy steel retain compression pads that fit over the ends of the concrete cylinder for 6” dia x 12” (150 mm x 305 mm) specimens.
