This apparatus determine the setting time of the mortar fraction in the concrete mixes with slump greater than zero, by testing mortar sieved from mix. The apparatus consist of spring penetrometer (capacity 100 kgf, precision 1 kgf) and six removable needles of sq/mm. 645, 323, 161, 65, 43, 16, (1, 1/2, ¼, 1/10, 1/20, 1/40) inch2 area. A sliding ring indicates the reached load on the handle of the penetrometer. Supplied complete with wooden carrying case. Dimension 450 x 160 x 70 mm.
